Our Story

IN THE GLORY DAYS was founded by the Kowalski family—by Rob Kowalski, whose lifelong passion for vintage collectibles began at an early age, and Wynn Nguyen, a seasoned interior designer with a deep appreciation for timeless design and handcrafted objects rich with history.

Rob’s fascination started where most childhoods didn’t.

“When other kids were glued to Saturday morning cartoons, I was captivated by Antiques Roadshow*, learning the language of provenance, patina, and the thrill of discovery. That early fascination with the stories behind everyday objects set me on a lifelong treasure hunt, one that’s still going strong today.” — Rob Kowalski

That curiosity for why an object mattered, where it came from, who once cherished it, and how it survived, became the foundation of In The Glory Days.

Wynn brings a complementary perspective shaped by years of interior design experience and a trained eye for balance, texture, and authenticity.

“Vintage pieces carry layered meaning: cultural, historical, and artisanal significance. Signs of age, such as patina or surface wear, are not flaws; they enhance authenticity and tell the object’s journey through time. As an interior designer, I often recommend these pieces because they add depth, character, and a sense of soul, essential elements that elevate any living space.” Wynn Kowalski

Together, Rob and Wynn believe vintage is more than décor or collectibles, it’s storytelling.

At IN THE GLORY DAYS, we approach every piece with curiosity and respect. We believe every object carries a chapter of someone’s life, and our mission is to honor those memories while helping them find new meaning and value. Whether it’s a well-loved heirloom, a forgotten attic find, or a rare design statement waiting to be rediscovered, we see each item as a bridge between the past and the future.

This is where stories live on.
